AbstractHelene Dallaire is a militant feminist who has been working for a long time with minority francophone women in Canada. Professorat l'Universite d'Ottawa, Madame Dallaire does research and teaches in the field of equity and access to physical activity as adeterminant of health. She explains that her community involvement is at the source of her enthusiasm for teaching and action research.
