ANNOUNCEMENT: Forthcoming Issue 42.2

Atlantis aims to publish two issues per calendar year. Our second issue of 2021, Issue 42.2, is currently in progress with numerous research articles and book reviews under consideration.

Several recent studies have noted that the Covid-19 pandemic has placed disproportionate pressure on women scholars, and especially on junior faculty, as many of these scholars have assumed additional responsibilities outside the workplace (see examples of studies here and here). Most Atlantis authors, editors, peer reviewers, staff, and Board members identify as women (and many of our authors are junior faculty) and we have noted this trend firsthand.

Atlantis has several active Calls for Papers and, recognizing the ongoing challenges brought on by the pandemic, we continue to welcome unthemed (open) submissions. We look forward to considering your work and publishing Issue 42.2 in the coming months.
